Remanufacturing is the ultimate form of recycling!
When a car part is remanufactured, the energy and C02 expended to manufacture the original part is mostly re-harvested, with a lot of effort, research and technical know-how these parts are brought back to their original condition.
Unlike standard recycling that calls for the energy intensive melting down of the original material to be reused in the process of manufacturing another. Remanufacturing does not require this ‘melting down’ step, instead parts are rebuilt to reuse the original component, saving energy and excess impact on the environment, therefore remanufacturing is the ultimate form of recycling!
Autoparts UK LTD supply over 250’000 core parts back into the remanufacturing system equating to over 1’000 ton’s of raw material being saved from either being smelted or going to landfill.
We believe that the supply of parts to our customers (the re-manufacturer) also reduces the importation of parts from the Far East, saving further energy and CO2 by way of reduced transportation.
